It is no joke that cleaning the house is a time consuming task.
Recently put on "working bed rest," I am unable to uphold my other duties at home...
{as in cleaning and making dinner}
I feel like such a lazy bum getting home from work and sitting on the couch until bed time.
My husband and I normally split up all the household chores. Well, he does laundry and dishes and I do everything else.
Now he is stuck doing it all!
He has told me over and over again to make a cleaning list.
Hmm, I guess I might've complained once or twice or a thousand times that I felt like I was doing all the household chores.
For some reason boys don't seem to understand that sometimes you need to vacuum more than once a week. We do have 2 dogs, a cat, and a toddler!
It might be over kill...but your house will be guest ready if you follow these every day tasks.
In the future I will have a quaterly/semi year and yearly cleaning check list.
You can download your own weekly cleaning calendar. I left extra spaces for each day so you can add your own cleaning routine.
As always please use this printable for personal use only. If you would like to share this printable please link your readers back to this post for downloading.
Thanks so much for the support and happy cleaning!
Thanks so much for another great printable! I'll try anything to get me out this anti house work funk!
ReplyDeleteAfter hearing from my DH this weekend how much he liked the house "party ready" this list will be a great printable! (for him) Jennifer
ReplyDeleteThis would be a wonderful post to have for Share the Wealth Wednesday Link Party! www.laughloveandcraft.com
ReplyDeleteLove this idea! I feel like I need my own weekly cleaning calendar because it's so hard to keep up with everything (and 2 toddlers!).
ReplyDeleteSaw you at Sumo's Sweet Stuff!
I love this! I have a daily, weekly and monthly lists that I keep in sheet protectors. Mine aren't nearly as pretty as yours. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAnother great list. You really are making my life easier!!! :) Thank goodness (for me) for your bed rest. Hang in there, I am sure it's annoying. Thank you again!
ReplyDeleteTara
What a great way to keep track! If only I had someone to do all those things for me! Lol

I love your printables. I really like the blog calendar. Have you ever considered selling the idea to "Knock Knock"? I use there mouse pad to do lists and such. I would love to see it in mouse pad size with tear off sheets.
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for something like this! Thank you. Sharing with my Facebook readers.

Thank you SO SO much for sharing this! I've been trying to get myself on a schedule and just haven't been able to keep to it, this is JUST want I needed!
ReplyDeleteOh, I truly do need your checklist.....you will laugh, but being retired has made me into a "never get anything done" person. I always think I have all the time in the world to do chores, and postpone them and suddenly realize that I am too tired to do housework after a day of play and lunch with friends. When I worked, I was organized....not now. Thanks, maybe this will help me!
ReplyDeleteHi! Just found you, and boy am I glad! This download is just what I need. Thanks so much!
ReplyDelete:)

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! I'm going to laminate my printed copy so I can mark them off with a dry erase marker and reuse it week by week. Thanks for linking it to Gluesticks so I could find it. :)
ReplyDeleteI love anything organizational!
ReplyDeleteOh my! This is seriously Divine intervention here. I just posted about how my house is never guest ready...yet we have guest every weekend. I love this and I am printing it off right now!! Thank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteSo you must be reading my mind...
ReplyDeleteI can not seem to stay on top of CLEANING. Even when all the laundry is washed it's not all put away. I'd love to have a clean house for just one day a week .)

This is so great! I totally need to do this. It's probably better than just shutting the door to the dirty room, huh? LOL! Thanks so much for coming over and sharing this with us at Inspiration Friday this week!

Hi!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great list. I have another idea to add. If you put it in a photo frame and hang it somewhere nifty... you can write on the glass with a marker and it will always wipe clean :)
Kindest Wishes

This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
ReplyDelete*Found you thru Lovely Crafty Home!
First? I wanna say I LOVE your name. My great grandmother's name was Evelyn & my grandmother is Kate. If I were to have another girl, this would DEF be in my top 3 choices.
ReplyDeleteSecond? I love the OCD list. I love lists & am forever trying to concoct one for cleaning. I think I may just steal yours.
Yay! This is so clever! I really love "organizing" related projects! Makes it easier, especially for us moms, to actually finish what needs to be finished ^^) thanks for sharing. We will featuire your project today and I hope you'd grab a featured button. You also made it to TSWL's Finest Round 4. have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou mention you think your ADD and being a clean freak might be in opposition, I see them as great complements. ADD makes you a whirling dervish to get moving (not necessarily completed, but you seemed to have worked out that issue) and being a clean freak removes the visual noise that swirls around, making focus difficulty. Your clean, organized home calms your ADD. Good job using these 2 qualities to enhance your home. I'm just doggone proud of you.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your cute cleaning calendar! And, congrats on your precious new baby boy!!
ReplyDeletethis is great! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIs there any way that I can use your chart, but change the chores to suit my family? I have been trying to make my own and I am not able. Do you have a blank template to share?
ReplyDeleteLove this! Thanks!!
ReplyDeletethank you
ReplyDeleteawwww and its pretty too! I wont follow sloppy lists so this will keep everything pretty and organized! maybe i'll actually clean too! <3

I do love this printable! Just shared it over on my fb page!
ReplyDeleteThank you, this is very helpful!
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to download an editable copy? http://facebook.com/cleverholly
ReplyDeleteI would love a template too since we will have a newborn soon and I would like to make it for different chores. Thank you! Billings.holly@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love this and put it in a picture frame and then write on the glass with a dry erase marker...However is there any way to edit it? I downloaded it to my computer and saved it, but it won't let me add anything or erase any typing...For instance, I would like to move "Trash" to Tuesday...
ReplyDeleteI really hate cleaning the house, specially with my two kids who always make the house into a carnival, I feel like it's a never ending task. Thank you for sharing your tips. I hope it will work.
