A couple weeks ago I showed you the old play room closet transition.
The old play room closet went from this:

{oh such a mess}
to this:
{organized}
I also mentioned that I wanted to put a closet system in Harrison's room.
This weekend my handy husband went to the store and picked up this closet system.

{via lowes}
he also bought two of these to stack...

We lucked out and ended up getting everything on sale. I guess they are transitioning to a new closet system. We ended up getting everything for about $300. It seems a little steep but compared to the closet system we designed online at $800 we saved a bundle.
There is something about the builder grade wire closets that I can't stand. I am very thankful to get that stuff out of there!
The shorter system says nothing about stacking so Daniel decided to "make it work." He ended up drilling two extra holes near the bottom of the top section so the bottom piece (toe kick) was bigger. I didn't want this to look like we decided to stack two smaller units together. I think it turned out pretty amazing! Now the unit looks like it was meant to be one piece all along. Total spent on this tall unit: $60.

I just ordered a ton of these

I want to go for this style in the closet for all of his baby supplies and toys

There is still so much to be done. It is crazy how long it can take to design and execute a room.
I know Harrison is very excited to see his room - all of these contractions are telling me he is ready to come out. Being shy of 29 weeks we all know it is best for him to stay in the womb for a couple more months!
I love how your closet turned out Ashley! My husband and I want to do something similar in our walk-in. Martina
